Video artists and fans of video art!
Be prepared for the 19th International Videofestival Bochum! THE event
in terms of international Video Art will take place from 18th to 20th
June 2009 at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. The festival offers a great
platform for artists and enthusiasts to
get in touch and talk about the medium of Video. An exceptional event is
the unique VJ-Contest, where VJ artists are invited to perform in front
of a large seated audience. This is a whole new way to experience VJ art
offside the dance floor.
Videos with a maximum length of 35 minutes may be submitted to the
international competition - they can be experimental, documental or
narrative. There are no boundaries to your creativity and innovation!
Send your video or installation and the completed entry form to Bochum
and pass this information on to anyone who might be interested. Deadline
for all submissions is 15th February 2009.
