We are calling for worldwide entries for 2009. Deadline for entries is
17:00 (GMT) October 5th.
THE BRIEF
Witness accounts, adaptation stories, animation, innovation, satire,
under 18’s, amateur film-makers, professionals, fiction, music
videos…Whoever you are and whatever your take on climate change we want you
to take action and make your 1 minute film.
THE JUDGING
Our in house team will select 15 films plus the 5 top films rated by the
public on the 10th October. These 20 finalists will go before our panel of
judges and be screened on our featured section on the home page Winners
and Prizes will be announced on 30th Otober 17:00 (GMT)
Tag your film when you upload and download our title sequence (optional)
this will help direct people to the site to vote for you. Get your entries
in quickly and spread the word so that your friends and colleagues can vote
for your film too. One vote per person per film.
THE AWARDS
The winning film will receive a cash prize of £1000. Runner up films
will receive prizes kindly donated by the competition’s sponsors. (to be
announced).
Make your film and we’ll make sure the world sees it. Get creative for
climate change! This is your chance to get your point of view seen. Our
partners will be sending your winning films around the globe in a worldwide
campaign in November to raise public and political support for the
Copenhagen Climate Conference.
Winning films will screen in selected cinemas in the UK.
Youth films will screen at the British Film Institute on November 28th
with TrueTube.
Three of the finalists will also be chosen to screen at the Copenhagen
Climate Conference.
