Šveiciešu mākslinieču grupa "it sounds like Rita" aicina atsaukties dažādu jomu māksliniekus un vienkārši interesentus, kuri vēlas piedalīties kolektīvas performances radīšanā Rīgā no 4. līdz 7. oktobrim.
Performance iecerēta kā ieskaņa RIXC organizētajam festivālam ENERĢIJA. Jaunās mākslinieces ir studējušas pie ievērojamiem Eiropas performanču māksliniekiem. Viņu performances raksturo pancīga un viegli feministiska noskaņa. Swiss artist’s group “it sounds like Rita” is looking for people who would like to participate in creation of a collective performance. This performance would resonate the theme initiated by the festival ENERGY organized in Riga in October 8 – 10 by the RIXC. “We are looking for interested people that would like to develop a swarm performance: What is going to happen when different systems unite in collective actions? How can we use the principle of swarm in an artistic way? How can different people cumulate their energetic potential? We’re searching any protagonists from the 4th to 7th of October to spend time in discussions, exercising and performing. If you have experience in dancing, choreography, music, singing, performing, video, programming, swarm organisation...it's even better! Since June of 2007 performance projects have been realised together. Music, language, dance, video and costume are the most important elements of their events. The group is working with strategies of dilettantism, collage and mimicry. The collective uses the tank it sounds like Rita to create artworks in different cast and authorship.
