Hi Alexis, One question. When the IETF web site was significantly updated some years ago, we went to a lot of trouble to ensure that existing URLs that were widely known or embedded in RFCs were preserved (as redirects). Has the same been done for rfc-editor.org?
For example, will URLs such as https://www.rfc-editor.org/info/rfc1 or https://www.rfc-editor.org/errata/eid2541 still work? FWIW, it was not a small job for the IETF site... you can see the list of "sacred" URLs from the old IETF site on pages 6-14 of https://iaoc.ietf.org/documents/IETF-Website-SOW-20140604-Final.pdf Regards/Ngā mihi Brian Carpenter On 23-Aug-25 08:33, Alexis Rossi wrote:
Hello, The IETF engineering team and the RPC are working on a new version of rfc-editor.org <http://rfc-editor.org>.. You will be able to get a sneak peak of it at IETF 124 in Montreal at the RPC desk. In the meantime, we have released a blog post with some details: https://www.ietf.org/blog/rfc-editor-website-reimagined/ <https://www.ietf.org/blog/rfc-editor-website-reimagined/> Thanks, Alexis Rossi RFC Series Consulting Editor _______________________________________________ rfc-interest mailing list -- rfc-interest@rfc-editor.org To unsubscribe send an email to rfc-interest-le...@rfc-editor.org
