Hello,
I wanted to share with the community some of the things I’ve been working
on recently.
* Approved Editorial Stream Drafts *
- draft-editorial-rswg-rfc9280-updates (coauthored with Paul Hoffman)
to obsolete RFC9280 (RFC Editor Model v3) has been approved by RSAB, IESG,
and IAB. It has been sent to the RPC for editing.
- draft-editorial-rswg-svgsinrfcs (coauthored with Nevil Brownlee, Jean
Mahoney, and Martin Thomson) to obsolete RFC7996 (SVG Drawings for RFCs)
has been approved by RSAB and sent to RPC for editing.
* RFC-editor.org Revamp *
Work on the redesigned rfc-editor.org site is ongoing, and a preview was
shown on a community call in August [1]. At IETF 124 in Montreal you are
invited to stop by the RPC desk (near registration) to try it out.
Additional design work to add some future interactive features is ongoing.
* SVG accessibility information *
Working with RPC to provide updated guidance for creating accessible SVGs.
* Web Archiving of RFC-Editor, IETF, IAB, and IAB sites *
Completed annual “maintenance” crawls of these web sites.
* Web Archiving of RFC Outlinks *
Ongoing task to archive outlinks for inclusion in the Wayback Machine from
new RFCs soon after they are published.
