Tim, Thanks for the dumb question... I did generate a new .rbf this morning from the new .sof, put that on the SD card, but then changed the "sample depth" went to a meeting and well... Janet

But when I open a SignalTap file, and connect to a device that has no SignalTap instance in it, I get “Start Rapid Recompile to continue” Did you launch signal tap by opening a *.stp file, or from within your Quartus project, selecting SignalTap from the Tools menu? I’m not sure if there’s a difference, but I generally open from within the Tools menu. Dumb question, but are you sure the correct FPGA is getting loaded at boot? — Tim Tim Kennedy G5 Infrared 603/204.5722 x33 www.g5ir.com On 7/10/17, 4:55 PM, "Janet Estabridis" <jpe1...@mchsi.com> wrote: >Tim or anyone, >So, when I boot and then open the *stp file from Quartus 16.1 - it >immediately says "Invalid JTAG config" because the wrong device is >selected (@1: SOCVHPS (0x4BA00477)) when I need t use @2: 5CSEBA6 ... >then when I select the correct device it says "Program the device to >continue." >How do I get around this? >Janet > >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Janet Estabridis" <jpe1...@mchsi.com> >To: "Tim Kennedy" <tkenn...@g5ir.com> >Cc: "rfi" <rfi@lists.rocketboards.org> >Sent: Monday, July 10, 2017 1:05:21 PM >Subject: Re: [Rfi] Signal Tap with Macnica Sodia > >Tim, >Thanks for the response.
