"The Debug Exam involves correcting problems on a Red Hat Linux system. These problems range from boot failure to problematic network services. Examinees may use any documentation installed on the system in order to assess and correct problems, but they may not bring in any books or notes, and "reinstall" is not a valid corrective measure!" Nah disini tantangannya, banyak sekali kemungkinan system diutak atik. Dengan waktu 2.5 jam dikurangi 30menit untuk install tiap soal, kita cuman dapat 2 jam untuk 4 soal. Harus bisa membagi waktu dan jangan berkutat di satu soal. Tiap sesi minimal harus dapat 50% jadi pada sesi debug minimal harus lolos 2 soal. Kalau lolos 3 bagus, lolos 4 lebih bagus karena bisa untuk membackup nilai instalasi.
