Mr Yang Mudah dan Menghibur, It is quite possible to use the one interface/IP address for your DNS, WINS and SAMBA setup. But as your colleagues suggested, it can cause a potential security hole if you are sharing out your internal DNS and SAMBA information over a publicly accessible IP address/interface, ie the Internet. So if you want to do this kind of setup, make sure to use a firewall, ipchains or iptables, the 'hosts allow' directive in SAMBA and the 'listen_on' and 'allow_transfer', 'allow_query' directives in DNS (aka BIND). So you can restrict which machines can access your services.
