That's what I see too, and when I navigate through the "Alter Channel
Subscriptions" link, I'm not allowed to change the base channel. From
the channels list, it seems that the channels for both RHEL 5 beta 1's
(server and client) are available (at the bottom of the list). 

Based on the release lit, it seems like there should be five (5)
channels available - VT, Cluster, Server, Desktop, and Workstation.

I've just opened bug 206287 for this purpose.
