I set in yum.conf:
proxy=http://my.proxy.com:8080
It seems to be ignored. I removed it and set https_proxy:
export http_proxy=http://my.proxy.com:8080
export https_proxy=http://my.proxy.com:8080
Then I was able to register, but I'm getting this error with "yum info" and
other yum commands.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# yum info
Setting up repositories
https://xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com/XMLRPC/GET-REQ/rhel-x86_64-client-5-beta/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 400:
Bad Request
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository:
rhel-x86_64-client-5-beta
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date has the correct proxy in it.
This is x86_64. Any help would be appreciated.
