We're testing a patch, we think the issue has to due w/ how the compression
flags are getting set.  I'll send a note when we have a tenative schedule for
getting the fix out to production.

Thanks for everyone's patience as we continue to work the kinks out of the
backend infrastructure, we do expect further backend optimizations even after
this initial fix.
