Hello...

  Am I missing something?

  I have NETWORKING_IPV6=no in /etc/sysconfig/network , but still get an
IPv6 address.

eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:13:72:F8:0F:46
          inet6 addr: fe80::213:72ff:fef8:f46/64 Scope:Link

 Is there another knob to twist?

p.s. FWIW, I'm impressed by RHEL5 so far.

Let's face it, there's no Hollow Earth, no robots, and
no 'mute rays.' And even if there were, waxed paper is
no defense. I tried it. Only tinfoil works.
