Hi everyone,

I have copied all of the CD's for RHEL5b1 onto an NFS server and I have a working kickstart install, but I don't get all of the packages when using the @everything group in the packages section of the kickstart file.

In addition gcc isn't installed even when I specify the development group. If I specify gcc as a package, then the installation complains. I suspect that the different flavors of RHEL5 like client and desktop may be a cause.

Has anyone else dealt with this?

What are you using for the registration key? And which flavor (Server or Client) are you installing?

I'm not sure which flavor, I just point the automated kickstart install ad the directory that holds the Client, Workstation, Server, etc directories.
