Hi,

Our software developers make use of the GLw draw library and headers:

        /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLw.a
        /usr/include/GL/GLwDrawA.h
        /usr/include/GL/GLwDrawAP.h
        /usr/include/GL/GLwMDrawA.h
        /usr/include/GL/GLwMDrawAP.h

which were found in the XFree86-devel (RHEL 3) and xorg-x11-devel
(RHEL 4) rpms.

However, the xorg-x11-devel rpm does not appear on the RHEL 5 Beta
1 or 2 isos. I ran a query on all rpms to see if the GLw files
were found in another package and they were not.

The Beta 1 release notes indicate that xorg-x11-devel was removed,
but doesn't indicate what its replacement is/will be. I also searched
the archives and bugzilla and did not find any references either.

Will xorg-x11-devel or its equivalent be part of the final RHEL 5
release, and will the libGLw files be included? If not, what are
the plans for this?

Thanks,

Rodney
