Starting to test RHEL5, and I've got a question on installation.
Installing using 'linux askmethod' and then mounting over NFS (if that matters.
My partitioning step (disk druid) is insisting on offering me device-mapper devices instead of standard /dev/sdb* partitions that I'd like to use.
For example, it wants to put root on /dev/mapper/ddf1_V0p1 instead of /dev/sdb1, which is what *I* want to use. I have two SATA drives, and oddly enough the primary, with windows on it, does show up as /dev/sda.
Is this required behavior? I know it works, but for various reasons, I'd prefer to stick with the simpler, more traditional device names.
