It means your hardware is running the wrong kernel for it. For AMD
systems and probably some of the other big boxes.. you will want to
run the PAE kernel so that you can see all of your RAM etc. I do not
know if it will cause your system to run slower... but if prelink is
having to spew lots of notifications that it isnt running optimally ..
that would affect performance.
I'm seeing these errors on both the RHEL5 server host and guest on an
AMD system also. The box only has 1GB of ram so I don't think I should
need a PAE kernel, should I? And speaking of that what is the relation
between the PAE kernel and the xen kernel? Doesn't the xen kernel
support the same things as the PAE kernel?
