Hi,

There is a nice feature in rpm called repackage. When I upgrade a package with rpm -U I can add a --repackage option and the original version of the rpm to be upgraded is repackaged and stored in /var/spool/repackage.

Can I use this feature with yum localupgrade or maybe with yum upgrade? If yes, how? If no, why not? :-)

Thanks,

Zizi
