Add the correct tokens to /etc/gdm/custom.conf:

[daemon]
TimedLoginEnable=true
TimedLogin=username
TimedLoginDelay=10

(untested on RHEL5, this is what I use on RHEL4 in /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf)

Is it possible to exploit that GDM auto login remotely? Whats the
security aspect of enabling this?
