I need to patch a httpd module in RHEL 5.

How do I use my rhn-access (e.g. via yum or pup) to load a source rpm?

There's some sort of support for downloading/installing source rpms within yum, but I've never used it myself... You can just grab the srpms off our ftp server though:

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/enterprise/5Server/en/os/SRPMS/

Or from any RH mirror (ex: mirrors.kernel.org/redhat/...). All SRPMS are published in the open for all to see/use/mirror/etc.

Thanks, I found already a way.

I logged via browser into RHN, wnet to my installed system, there into installed packages, selected httpd by clicking on its link.

A text description open, and inside is a link to the source rpm.

I copied this link, and pulled the source rpm with wget.

Now I can make my patch.
