Sure, do NOT use localhost, use the IP address of your computer, assumes it works from the outside of your network too, so make sure your firewall is permissive.
-----Message d'origine----- De : [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] De la part de Kenton Brede Envoyé : 23 mai 2007 14:45 À : [email protected] Objet : [rhelv5-list] Problem installing parvirtualized RHEL5 I'm trying to install a paravirtualized RHEL5 guest on a RHEL5 machine. Using the GUI everything goes smoothly until the installer can't find the minstg2.img file. I'm prompted for the network settings and then the following error message appears: "unable to retrieve http://localhost//disk1/images/minstag2.img" I copied the contents of the first RHEL5 installation disk into Apache's ServerRoot in /var/www/html/disk1. The installer says it can't find minstag2.img but if I put the same path into a browser the browser finds it fine. I've got apache.apache perms on the images directory and minstag2.img and chmod 777. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or is the installer just broke? Thanks, Kent _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
