Hi Jussi.

        Are you still seeing the links going up and down? The present
default DM-MPIO policy for the Symmetrix is to fail immediately. If
you're having link issues then you'll continue to bounce back and forth
between paths and this will affect the performance. 
        You've stated that the performance was degraded when DM-MPIO is
used. Was the performance better without the use of DM-MPIO and the
setting of the D bit on the FA?

Thanks, got it sorted.

Still a bit puzzled why I'm seeing very slow reads from the array after
I 
multipath it.
