I have a question about bugs found in packages distributed with RHEL5.
Is it better to submit the bug report to RedHat, as a bug in EL5, or to the upstream maintainer of the package?
I assume that I'll get a faster response if I report it directly to the person maintaining the original system, but then the fix may not get incorporated into the RHEL packages for some time.
