Hi,

I'd like to rotate the mysql logfiles as described in the mysql documentation from mysql and othe sources.

But I cant find the mysql-log-rotate - script, which should be installed by default.

http://hell.org.ua/Docs/oreilly/nuts/bookshelves/linuxwebserv2/mysql/ch04_03.htm also says, that the file should be moved and renamed to /etc/logrotate.d/mysql.

Any ideas, hints and tips?

Thanks and best regards
