Hello. I've got an odd issue, and I'm probably doing something wrong.

How does one automatically register a box with an in-use activation key?

How does one de-register a box in an automated way as well?

Let's suppose use of rhn.redhat.com instead of a satellite server. The "key
--skip" trick is already included in the kickstart script to avoid entering
an installation number as well.

All permutations of the following fail:

rhnreg_ks --activationkey=<hexkey> --force

rhnreg_ks --username=<username> --password=<password>
--activationkey=<in-hex> --force

Error Message:

Registration failed: RHN Software Management service entitlements
exhausted

Error Class Code: 91

Error Class Info: Registration token unable to entitle system: maximum
membership exceeded
