I figured out that by using rmmod to remove the SAN card driver it stops complaining about the disks...

Hello Maarten, I would recommend passing "nostorage" on your kernel boot or append for the installation and then specifying the following inside ks.cfg: device scsi cciss "nostorage" tells Anaconda to not load any storage-related kernel modules.
