Hi, I'm "fighting" with a CUPS config, but while testing, I don't understand how you can (still) see all remotely advertised printers *immediately* after a cups restart.
IIRC, in the past the list of printers (e.g. what you see with "lpstat -a") was growing while broadcast packets from other servers were received. Is this list cached somewhere, so that I can remove it? Debugging a config file is extremely difficult if you have to wait several minutes (that's what I see) until the list is actually reflecting the rules in your config. -- -- Jos Vos <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- X/OS Experts in Open Systems BV | Phone: +31 20 6938364 -- Amsterdam, The Netherlands | Fax: +31 20 6948204 _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
