Hi all...

User here asked me about the possibility of setting up a "triple boot" MacPro after 10.5 comes out.

I can "clone" XP (and Vista) using imaging products like Ghost/Acronis (we have a master image we put on the Windows boxes and I've successfully used Ghost to move XP into a "bootcamp" partition with no problems...)

I can clone OSX (using Carbon Copy Cloner or "Disk Utility") between multiple Macs with no problem.

Is there a way to move an installed Red Hat image from one hardware box to another? Or is this not feasible/recommended?

I can set up "rEFIt" (http://refit.sourceforge.net/ ) so that I can have 3 different bootable partitions on the Mac, but haven't ever considered if I could move a RedHat install from one computer to another (potentially where the "master image" is on a Windows machine and the target would then be a MacPro). Our RedHat installs are currently so few and far between that we only ever do them from the master .isos

Anybody ever try this?

Thanks!

- Steve
