I experience the same problem last April with the new Red Hat 5
installation.
We have a script that we use for the public key exchange between server, i
don't remeber exactly where...
But i find a segmentation fault with "sftp -b" on openssh 4.3p2.
So we change the sftp -b with the option of ssh... specify the command
directly on the invocation line:

ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED] "command1; command2; command3..."
