RHEL 5 with nscd and nss_ldap is basically a ticking time bomb for me.
Eventually, the box loses its mind from nss_ldap leaking FDs.

I see the same issue with RHEL 4.6 after the upgrade from 4.5. I
downgraded nss_ldap to resolve the issue until the bug gets sorted out.
With RHEL 4.6 it occurs only on hosts which query winbind groups which
do not exist on the host exhibiting these symptoms.
