Hi Everyone
Off topic question, if anyone knows of an equivalent I'd be grateful...
Currently use procmail with sendmail and have this line in to do some
re-directs/forwards for a few people. I'm curious to know a similar
postfix usage
| formail -A "X-Loop: [EMAIL PROTECTED]" | $SENDMAIL -oi
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I'm sure you can do that, but what's wrong with aliases? Is this just
for some of their mail?
John
Thanks for the reply - I was fixated with the word sendmail and thinking
that it wouldn't work, so was looking for an alternative without having
tried what I had. I've given it a whirl and it does work as per my old
sendmail setup. I only use this method of forwarding for email from
certain senders that need to be distributed to multiple people incase
someone is off and doesn't see it etc..
Tell those folk to email [EMAIL PROTECTED] and set up whatever as an
alias that gets sent to the others. Or as a mailbox all read (better,
from: can be made to work properly).
