We got many scripts that make use of sort, which, I suppose, calls qsort(). Same with perl stuff. I can't enforce sort, perl stuff to use 32bit. I just checked opensuse10.2 on 64bit xeon box. They shipped with 32bit glibc. $ rpm -qa | grep glibc glibc-common-2.3.4-2.25 glibc-2.3.4-2.25 glibc-utils-2.3.4-2.25 compat-glibc-headers-2.3.4-2.26 glibc-2.3.4-2.25 glibc-devel-2.3.4-2.25 glibc-profile-2.3.4-2.25 glibc-kernheaders-2.4-9.1.98.EL glibc-headers-2.3.4-2.25 _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list rhelv5-list@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
