What do you think?

@base
@editors
@text-internet
@admin-tools

What is missing for GUI applications?
@base-x?

If you install vnc-server then you ought get everything needed to run it.

If you're running a GUI and think you might need to refer to online docs, or run a google enquiry to solve some problem, probably you should have firefox too.

You might also find a need for email, maybe to send yourself something. Red Hat favours Evolution, but I prefer Thunderbird.

Unless you're familiar with mutt (an email client) I suggest you probably won't like it.

For a text editor I use vim in its character-based or GUI incarnation as circumstances dictate.

If you do much commandline stuff, take a look at screen. It gives several command-line sessions on one console.

Selecting a group such as @admin-tools is fine if you want all of its members.

Once you have a manual install, you have a ks file to automate other installs "just like it."
