Hi,

I'm new to xen, so this may be the problem.

I'v installed a new RHEL5.1 Server with the xen-tools, xen-kernel, gnome, virt-manager etc.

Now I'd like to sit in front of my mac and log in to the new system by vnc like I do with some other non xen-RHEL5 servers.

I copied the config to the new server, but starting the vncserver fails anytime.

Is there a trick? What may be wrong?

You'd have a better idea if you read the messages, maybe if you started vncserver manually.

I don't think xen is relevant.

The password for the user and the display is set:

VNCSERVERS="2:root"
VNCSERVERARGS[2]="-geometry 1280x900
