Hi,
What is the quickest way to invoke the "Query" (ask for root
password) window in RHEL5-Client to launch an application with root
privileges?
In gnome, I'd like to add a shortcut to nautilus with root
privileges. What can I add in front of the nautilus command to manage
files quickly as root?
su -c "nautilus" ??
I've found a quick difference with Ubuntu (and others) is they favor
the "sudo command" method for authenticating a normal user. RHEL on
the other hand uses the more traditional 'su' to get root.
Thanks, Andrew
