Hi,

% sha1sum rhel-5.1-server-ppc-dvd.iso
5c96b5fa57d5b1e7e664711b9373269524c5ab43 rhel-5.1-server-ppc-dvd.iso
% md5sum rhel-5.1-server-ppc-dvd.iso
04c8837c0e36cb459076c7513d5de1b1 rhel-5.1-server-ppc-dvd.iso

We downloaded the iso shown above from rhn.redhat.com during a trial
period where we were given access to d/ld the DVD ISO for RHEL 5.1
PPC64. We've tried burning the ISO on a DVD-R and a DVD+R but we can't
get either disks to be read on any Apple system (Iintel or PPC). We
are able to read the disks on intel linux systems (non-Apple
hardware). I've installed SLES10 PPC (DVD) and Gentoo PPC (CD) onto
the target machine without any problems so I know it can be done.

It seems we no longer have access to the information about the md5sums
for this ISO when we login and I didn't save this information
elsewhere. Can someone please verify these checksums or have any idea
about why we none of our Apple machines can read the DVDs? The DVDs
can be read by the Apple systems if we just burn data onto them so I
don't think it's an incompatibility issue with the media and the
drives in the Apple systems. I also don't recall having to give
cdrecord or k3b any special flags when I burned the Gentoo PPC CD iso.

Thanks
