Here's one more thing that should be *easy* for folks as aware as RH are to do [not so easy for fools like me]. You have yum and the install DVD repository available and that is a great foundation. How about a repo list of the top 100 - 500 - ? download sites one command addable to the stock(DVD) repo list provided to help us find all the cool gadgets that those in the know get to play with. I guess in English this time I'd like the system to know/offer searchable lists of the add-ons that *everyone on the list knows where to find when anybody asks for it. The recent posts about a system monitoring package show several options that would be really neat if we could 'yum install monitor-tool' and it simply plays nice without me already knowing where the tool can be found. Also I guess a 'yum show toybox|grep monitor' to list the monitor possibilities, for instance, to choose from would be quite helpful. Then again, for all I know this exists already =). Rumors about a 'dag' list come to mind.

What do people need/want in RHEL6? _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
