OMG - did I sleep all the way to April first? I knew that Linus guy made a colonel - I didn't know he had a filesystem too - will have to check it out..... Low level format utils have to come from the mfg.as they're controller specific - hopefully your interaction with support will turn it up. FWIW - I avoid WD drives like the plague.
