I would like to use virtualization with RHEL5. I plan having only two guests which are also RHEL5 on this server. Should I use the RHEL5 advanced platform or the base is good enough for the server ( host )?
As long as you are not planning on using a machine with more than 2 processors (really 2 processor slots on the motherboard that have processors in them, regardless of the number of cores) and do not need GFS or Cluster Suite, there is no reason why you can't simply use RHEL. If you need more than 2 physical processors or GFS or Cluster Suite, use RHEL AP
