See the man pages for vgcreate and vgchange, and particularly the options: -c, --clustered.

Configuration: hostA and hostB see the same SAN LUNs. I've created each LUN as a PV (pvcreate). I've created a VG with vgcreate using one of the LUNs. When I import the VG on hostA, it also shows up as available on hostB. Is there a way to prevent that, so that the VG is only available on the host that I issued the command on?
