When I run procinfo with -f , it crashes when I resize the terminal
window. Tried on 5.2 and 5.3. No problem with FC10.
Below is the output when it crashed on a RHEL 5.2. Under RHEL5.3, it
just shows Segmentation Fault.
With RHEL5.2 (kernel-2.6.18-92.1.22.el5, glibc-2.5-24.el5.2)
and RHEL5.3 (kernel-2.6.18-128.el5, glibc-2.5-34)
I have no crash or Segmentation Fault, when I resize the terminal
with a running procinfo -f .
======= Backtrace: =========
/lib64/libc.so.6[0x349de71cd1]
/lib64/libc.so.6(__libc_malloc+0x7d)[0x349de72e8d]
/lib64/libc.so.6(__strdup+0x22)[0x349de78012]
Both are 32bit versions.
Is this a bug ?
Not with 32bit.
Udo, thanks for testing. My first post showed the result on two 64-bit
servers. I just tried again on my 32-bit server ( RHEL 5.2 ) and it
works just fine when I resize my terminal. As in my previous post, it
works fine on my FC10, which is a 32-bit desktop. So I think this
happens only on 64-bit ?
