Hello !

We have 2 IBM servers running RHEL 5.2 with XEN Para virtualized guest
(about 7 on one machine). While I was preparing to upgrade those systems
to 5.3 I decided to make some tests on my DELL PC Optiplex 745 (Intel
dualcore 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM).

I made a clean install of RHEL 5.3 x86_64 with Virtualization support and
I tried to make new rhel 5.3 paravirt. guest to check out our applications
(stability and overall performance - I have done this before and I wanted
to compare results).
I install guests within X (locally logged as root) with Virtual Machine
Manager. SELinux and IPTables are off

EVERY TIME the Installation starts (anaconda starts copying files,
sometimes during the anaconda start) the host computer is rebooting. I?m
quite confused because RHEL 5.2 some time ago worked fine.
I noticed once that the installation process was kind slow. As
installation source I use ftp server over Gigabit Ethernet and the host
HDD have 32MB cache memory. Guest uses file as hdd and peth0 network
device (512RAM, 1vcpu).

I checked system logs, xen logs - everything seems to be normal but at the
end they are cut in have line! No extra debug info.

I'm not sure if I want to proceed with main systems installations ... any
suggestions ?

Best Regards
