Rigoberto, The only way you can do this is from the console. After the installation starts, press CTRL+ALT+F2 for the root shell. Other terminals F? can give you other information as well.

It seems that "stage2.img" in the RAM Disk doesn't contain sshd, so I can't log in via ssh. I didn't see "xterm" either in "stage2.img". I want to be able to get to the shell prompt while the installation is taking place. Is there another method I can use? Thanks, Rigoberto
