Rigoberto,

The only way you can do this is from the console. After the installation
starts, press CTRL+ALT+F2 for the root shell. Other terminals F? can give you
other information as well.

Regards,

Joseph

Subject: [rhelv5-list] Logging In During a Kickstart Installation

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to log in to the system being installed
during a kickstart installation? It seems that "stage2.img" in the RAM Disk
doesn't contain sshd, so I can't log in via ssh. I didn't see "xterm" either
in "stage2.img". I want to be able to get to the shell prompt while the
installation is taking place. Is there another method I can use?

Thanks,

Rigoberto
