Hello,
I have not tried updating with gfs2 but I cannot see a reason
why it should not work.
However, just to be sure you can pull out a disk from each
server assuming you have RAID-1 for system disks. And then upgrade to
5.3. In case something turns awry, you can just use these "old" 5.2
disks - the fastest way to get the system working again.
Regards,
Daniel

Subject: [rhelv5-list] GFS2 from RH 5.2 to 5.3
Hello,
I installed a Xen cluster using RH 5.2 :
2 xen server + gfs2 + cluster suite for failover of the Xen cluster
Not a prod server but a lot of effort has been made to configure it
Now that RH 5.3 is out and that gfs2 is prod ready. I'd like to test it.
Can I "just" upgrade to 5.3 without any problem ? does gfs2 from 5.2 is
100% compatible with gfs2 on 5.3 ?
Tx
