Why is the current RPM version of KVM (36) so out-dated that it does not
run the current versions of Windows?

According to this...
http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Guest_Support_Status
...KVM version 72 is required for Windows Vista and Server 2008.

This despite great work on KVM (now version 84), healthy competition
between KVM and Xen, publicity around the relationship between Red Hat
and KVM...
http://www.redhat.com/promo/qumranet/
...and agreements between Red Hat and Microsoft....
http://www.redhat.com/promo/svvp/

There is every reason for the KVM RPM to be updated but when will it happen?
