How about good ol' RCS? Its basic and easy to use - no real setup
required...

Subject: [rhelv5-list] Version control system for repository of
kickstartfiles

Hi list,

Does anyone have any experience/recommendations of version control
systems for managing a repository of kickstart files? Particularly ones
that are open source, packaged for RHEL in one of the common yum repos
and aren't CVS :)

Also, this may later also be expanded for more general config files or
templates managed through puppet.

Thanks

Tim Edwards
