Hi, I'm installing RHEL5.3 inside ESXi with NFS data-store coming from an EMC NAS. The problem is that every single time during the installation, ext3 barfs with "aborted journal detected" and switches the file-system into read-only mode, thus failing the installation. Using a local datastore (non NFS) works fine. Is RHEL5 being overly sensitive to some scsi commands timing out perhaps, as the NFS store is unable to cope with the load ? Anyway to decrease this sensitivity ?
