Eugene Correct me if I'm wrong here. But don't you have to use the driver supplied by RH if you want that system supported? However we had a system (rhel4.7) connected with two hba cards to a Netapp cluster. That configuration often used and preferred a non optimal path. To get support from Netapp we had to install Netapp host utilities and the version of HU available at the time forced you to use a Qlogic driver. We were very reluctant do do this, worried to void the RH warranty ;) And suddenly there it was a new release from RedHat. In rhel4.8 RH updated dm-multipath so now the path priorities work. And our unwillingness to "upgrade" the driver payed off :) //Andreas _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
