We did a fresh install of RHEL 5 to upgraded a 4.8 system. The two
ethernet devices flip-flopped IP addresses in the install from what
they'd been previously. I restore the
/etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-ethXX scripts, which contain the
hardware addresses, but it appears the two NIC's were physically counted
reverse from the prior install.
How to fix?
