I googled for "openssl subject alternative name wildcard" and found this, among other things: http://therowes.net/~greg/2008/01/08/creating-a-certificate-with-multiple-hostnames/ I used tinyCA to generate my multiple wildcarded names cert, although it's not the easiest of processes. jch
