initrd is a gzipped cpio archive. You can see the contents with the following command line:

    gzip -cd /boot/initrd-2.6.18-92.1.10.el5.img|cpio -ict

Look for lib/*.ko files.
The -t option on cpio just lists the contents rather than extracting it.
